Job Title: Operations Manager Production & DeliveryJob Summary:We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee and manage the entire production cycle from Production Planning & Control (PPC) to final shipment. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth coordination between all departments and maintain end-to-end operational efficiency. The role requires strong leadership skills, cross-functional collaboration, and excellent customer communication to ensure on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:- Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities from order receipt to dispatch, ensuring adherence to delivery commitments.- Coordinate with internal departments (sales, purchase, stores, quality, production, accounts) to ensure seamless flow of work without bottlenecks.- Monitor daily production progress and take proactive steps to avoid delays.- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.- Lead daily production meetings, tracking key operational metrics like output, productivity, and on-time delivery.- Communicate order status updates to customers and address customer queries effectively.- Implement process improvements to reduce lead time and increase operational efficiency.- Troubleshoot operational challenges and resolve them with minimum disruption.- Report regularly to management on production status, challenges, and improvement plans.- Ensure adherence to quality standards and company policies throughout the operations.Required Skills & Experience:- Minimum 7+ years of experience in operations/production management in a manufacturing environment (preferably CNC machining, aerospace, defense, or engineering industry).- Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control (PPC) and shop floor management.- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.- Good understanding of supply chain, inventory management, and quality processes.- Proven ability to lead teams and drive operational efficiency.- Problem-solving mindset with quick decision-making ability under pressure.- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and production tracking tools.- Educational Qualification:- B.E./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
