Station Management: Often given responsibility for managing a specific section or station in the kitchen (e.g., vegetable prep, grill, or pastry), under the supervision of a Chef de Parties or Sous Chef. Inventory and Stock Control: Help maintain stock levels, ensure proper storage, and assist with stock rotation to avoid wastage. Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all food safety regulations, such as proper hygiene practices, temperature control, and cleanliness. Assisting with Training: Support less experienced kitchen staff.
