As a CNC VMC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to produce precision components. Your role will involve ensuring that machines run efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.Key Responsibilities:- Machine Setup: Prepare and set up CNC VMC machines by installing the right tools and fixtures to ensure accurate operations.- Program Loading: Load CNC programs into the machines and verify that they are correctly set to achieve desired specifications.- Quality Checks: Monitor the machining process by conducting regular inspections of parts to ensure they meet required dimensions and quality standards.- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions in the machine to minimize downtime and maintain efficient production rates.- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to keep them in good working condition and report any major repairs needed.- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production quantities, quality inspections, and machine maintenance to ensure compliance and traceability.For this role, candidates should possess the following skills and expectations:- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with CNC programming and operation, especially with VMC machines, is essential.- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is crucial to ensure precision in the final products.- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions quickly.- Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively with other team members and departments to enhance overall productivity.- Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for long periods and handle heavy materials safely.
