The rolerequires strong hands-on operating skills, high attention to accuracy and finish quality,and proven expertise in stone clamping and workpiece holding methodsKey ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation Operate CNC Bridge Saws for slab cutting, straight cuts, miters, and angle cuts Operate CNC 4-axis carving machines for cut-outs, drainboards, recesses,engravings, and decorative work Operate CNC lathe turning machines for columns, balusters, pillar components,and cylindrical stone products Load and execute approved CNC programs as per production requirements Monitor machining cycles to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface qualityClamping & Workpiece HoldingQuality & Accuracy Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD layouts, and job instructions Check dimensions, squareness, profiles, and surface finish during and aftermachining Make minor offset or parameter adjustments to maintain quality Identify defects, tool wear, or abnormal cutting behavior earlyCoordination & Support Work closely with CNC programmers, polishing teams, and supervisors Coordinate with Automation & Electrical Engineers during breakdowns or alarms Assist in machine setup, trials, and process improvements

- Operate CNC machines: The primary responsibility of a CNC Operator is to operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and instruments.- Set up machinery: The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up the CNC machine by installing and aligning fixtures and attachments according to job specifications.- Monitor machine operations: It is important for the CNC Operator to monitor the machine while it is running to ensure it is functioning properly and producing parts within tolerance.- Inspect finished products: After the parts are produced, the CNC Operator must inspect them to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.- Troubleshoot issues: If there are any issues with the machine or the parts being produced, the CNC Operator must troubleshoot and make adjustments as needed.- Follow safety protocols: The CNC Operator is expected to follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.- Attention to detail: The ideal candidate for this role should have a keen eye for detail to produce accurate and precise parts.- Good physical stamina: As this job may involve standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials, good physical stamina is essential.- Basic math skills: A basic understanding of mathematics is required to accurately interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
