Compliance and safety: Ensure all projects comply with government regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols. Collaboration and communication: Coordinate with other professionals (like architects and contractors), communicate with clients and stakeholders, and present project updates. Problem-solving: Identify and resolve complex engineering problems that arise during the planning or construction phases. Required qualificationsEducation: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is typically required, and a master's degree can be beneficial. Experience: A significant amount of experience is necessary, often with a minimum of a few years working as a civil engineer. Licensure: A state professional engineer (PE) license is often required.
