JD for Structural Design Engineer Civil Location AnandExperience required more than 5 yearsQualification BE CivilSomeone who has worked on Substation design projects.Experience Level: 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering of RCC andsteel structures for transmission lines and substations.Key Skill Sets: Proficiency in activities mentioned in Key ResponsibilitiesJob description:The principal responsibilities essentially include: Prepare and co-ordinate detailed designs of superstructure as well as substructure forRCC and Steel structures for transmission lines and substations, Industrial buildings,canopies, etc. Understand and Interpret Geotechnical Investigation Report for design of foundationsystem. Design of foundations especially different types of pile foundations (bored cast in-situ,rammed, helical), raft foundations, block foundations, combined footings; as per soilconditions. To support transmission lines and substation structural design and drawings by takingengineering input from technical specifications, client and other engineering disciplines. Able to perform independently along with the draftsmen incorporating the GA,Construction drawings, design reports and BOQs. If required shall demonstrate thedesign at client office locations or end clients. Should be able to guide the drafting team time to time and ensure the deliverabletargets for the projects and shall also be open for the site visits in India and abroadduring construction of structures for checking. Co-ordinate and develop design criteria and construction specifications. Prepare and monitor schedules for deliverables. Attend project co-ordination meetings and liaise with Government Authorities, siteteam, clients and EPC contractors. Check the designs and drawings. Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff.Candidate Specification: Candidate shall be preferably from Consultancy / EPC background with exposure ontransmits
