Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and angiographic procedures. Set up, operate, and maintain specialized imaging and monitoring equipment (e.g., fluoroscopy machines, pressure injectors). Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures by monitoring vital signs and managing instruments. Maintain sterile field and follow all infection control protocols. Record and document procedural data accurately in patient files and hospital systems. Prepare contrast media and other medical supplies before the procedure. Monitor patients condition before, during, and after the procedure. Assist in post-procedure care and recovery. Ensure equipment calibration and perform routine maintenance checks. Respond promptly to emergencies or complications during procedures.
