Offer assistance in carrying heavy or bulky items to customers vehicles when required.- Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean and organized, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies such as bags, receipt paper, and pens. Assist in restocking merchandise near the cash register area as needed.- Returns and Exchanges: Process returns and exchanges according to the store's policies, verify items and receipts, and issue appropriate refunds or store credits. Handle any customer inquiries or complaints related to returns.- Sales Support: Assist in other areas of the store as needed, such as restocking shelves, organizing displays, or providing support during busy periods. Collaborate with other team members to maintain an efficient and productive work environment.- Security and Loss Prevention: Adhere to store security procedures, including verifying identification for age-restricted purchases, checking bills for counterfeits, and reporting any suspicious activities or discrepancies to management.- Compliance: Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and store policies, including those related to cash handling, privacy, and customer information confidentiality.Qualifications and Skills:- Degree.- Previous cashier or customer service experience in a retail environment is preferred.- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.- Familiarity with cash register systems and POS software is a plus.- Basic computer proficiency.- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the store's operating hours.- Freshers can apply.
