Cargo OperationsAssist in handling air import and export shipments.Coordinate cargo acceptance, build-up, breakdown, and movement within the terminal.Ensure cargo is stored, handled, and delivered as per safety and airline guidelines.2. DocumentationPrepare and verify air waybills (AWBs), invoices, packing lists, and other shipment documents.Update shipment details in the system/ERP.Check compliance with customs and airline requirements.3. Customer CoordinationCommunicate with customers, freight forwarders, and airline partners regarding shipment status.Provide updates on delivery timelines, delays, and cargo tracking.Assist in resolving customer queries.4. This role ensures timely delivery, proper handling of cargo, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with all transport and safety regulations. The Cargo Driver represents the company in a professional manner and plays a vital role in the logistics and supply chain operations.Key Responsibilities: Transportation & DeliveryDrive company cargo vehicles to transport goods to assigned destinations.Ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments as per schedule.Follow designated routes and use GPS or route maps efficiently.Load and unload goods safely to prevent damage.Verify delivery documents, invoices, and cargo lists before dispatch.Obtain customer signatures and update delivery confirmations.Coordinate with dispatchers and warehouse teams for delivery instructions. Cargo HandlingInspect cargo for damage, quantity, and accuracy during loading/unloading.Secure goods properly using ropes, straps, or other restraints.Handle different types of cargo (fragile, perishable, or hazardous materials) as per company safety procedures.Maintain cleanliness and order in the cargo compartment.
