As an Airport Cargo Loader, you will be a crucial part of the airport operations team, responsible for handling cargo safely and efficiently. This is a full-time position located in Koch Bihar, suitable for candidates with minimal experience.Key Responsibilities:- Loading and Unloading Cargo: Safely load and unload cargo from aircraft, ensuring all items are handled with care to prevent damage.- Sorting Cargo: Organize and sort cargo based on size, weight, and destination to prepare for efficient transport.- Monitoring Weight Limitations: Ensure that the weight of cargo complies with airline regulations to maintain safety during flight.- Using Equipment: Operate equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, and hand trucks to move cargo around the airport.- Conducting Safety Checks: Perform regular checks on cargo and equipment to ensure everything is in proper working order and report any issues.- Documentation: Assist in completing necessary documentation for cargo shipments and ensure that all records are accurate.Required Skills and Expectations:- A minimum of a 10th-grade education is required.- No prior experience is necessary; however, candidates must be willing to learn and work in a team environment.- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cargo handling and documentation.- Physical fitness to handle the demands of loading and unloading cargo, which requires lifting heavy items.- Good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and other airport staff.- A basic understanding of safety protocols and willingness to follow them at all times.
