Job description for Utility operator/technicianThe following is a list of major duties and responsibilities for this position Utility operator/technician1. Inspects and performs preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to a wide variety ofmechanical and electronic equipment, e.g., disassembles, cleans, lubricates, and replaces equipmentparts as needed; makes minor mechanical repairs.2. Monitors equipment and takes reading at designated intervals; tracks the status of the system andprepares reports that account for equipment performance.3. Records and reports defects or failures in gas, electricity, or water; immediately responds andreports water and gas.4. Performs laboratory water chemistry testing and chemical treatment for all systems.7. Performs scheduled plant inspections, and records observations in the facility logbook.8. Monitors system performance and starts and stops equipment as required.9. Ensures the plant

. Overseeing all the Quality validation documents/parameters/criteria and verifying it for the assigneddepartment.2. Overseeing all the QA activities within the assigned department, identifying areas of improvement andimproving the processes wherever necessary.3. Adhere to the process of line inspection and ensure tagging process.4. Verification of the product and details provided for First Piece and Lot Inspection.5. Timely data to be provided for the departmental review mechanism.6. Ensure Effective & efficient Incoming Process7. Conclusion of NC material at incoming and production.8. Resourceful to the requirement of the Inspectors under their supervision.9. Preparation and validation of the QAP reports and documents.10. Gemba- To have adherence to the scheduled Gembas within the production and store for incoming.11. Development of the Inspectors under their supervision12. Ensuring the safety working environment for the team and timely updations of HIRA & EAI and other safetyrelated parameters.
