Responsibilities:Project Planning and Initiation: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for automation projects in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessment.System Design and Specification: Develop detailed designs and specifications for automation systems, including PLC/SCADA programming, HMI development, robotics integration, sensor selection, and network architecture, considering local requirements and standards.Vendor Management: Evaluate and select automation equipment and system vendors. Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery and quality of supplied components and services.Programming and Configuration: Develop, program, and configure PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems. Work with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems as required.Integration and Commissioning: Oversee the integration of various automation components and systems. Lead the testing, commissioning, and validation phases of automation projects.Installation Supervision: Supervise the installation of automation equipment and wiring according to design specifications and safety standards at the Nashik facility.Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for existing automation systems, diagnose and resolve issues, and implement necessary modifications or upgrades.Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design specifications, drawings, program code, test plans, and commissioning reports.Safety Compliance: Ensure that all automation projects and systems comply with relevant safety standards and regulations. Implement safety measures and conduct risk assessments.Training and Knowledge Transfer: Provide training to plant personnel on the operation and maintenance of new automation systems, utilizing local language where appropriate.
