responsibilities:

project planning and initiation: define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for automation projects in collaboration with stakeholders. develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessment.

system design and specification: develop detailed designs and specifications for automation systems, including plc/scada programming, hmi development, robotics integration, sensor selection, and network architecture, considering local requirements and standards.

vendor management: evaluate and select automation equipment and system vendors. manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery and quality of supplied components and services.

programming and configuration: develop, program, and configure plc (programmable logic controller) and hmi (human-machine interface) systems. work with scada (supervisory control and data acquisition) systems as required.

integration and commissioning: oversee the integration of various automation components and systems. lead the testing, commissioning, and validation phases of automation projects.

installation supervision: supervise the installation of automation equipment and wiring according to design specifications and safety standards at the nashik facility.

troubleshooting and support: provide technical support for existing automation systems, diagnose and resolve issues, and implement necessary modifications or upgrades.

documentation: prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design specifications, drawings, program code, test plans, and commissioning reports.

safety compliance: ensure that all automation projects and systems comply with relevant safety standards and regulations. implement safety measures and conduct risk assessments.

training and knowledge transfer: provide training to plant personnel on the operation and maintenance of new automation systems, utilizing local language where appropriate.
