Initiate actions along with CFT against the gap found in KPI target vs. actual. 11. Responsible to lead the plant review meeting. 12. Initiate 5S and safety preventions and ensure their timely implementations.13. Should have a good experience in Green Sand Casting process for Cast Iron or SG Iron Casting14. Should have experience in setting up a High-Pressure Molding Line.

Facilitates planning and development of quality control systems for specified products or processes. Collaborates with teams of engineers and product specialists at vendors end to ensure customer and division quality requirements are met. Visit vendors for pre delivery inspection. Periodic checking of Tools and Dies with vendors for their intended use. Monitor proper maintenance of tool life records. Developing and implementing quality control systems. Reviews design, manufacturing, and testing documentation. Coordinates and performs inspections of raw materials and finished products, applying appropriate quality assurance testing models. Tabulate and document data relating to products, processes, materials, its qualities and reliabilities. Also prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management. Identifies the root cause of quality problems, and coordinates modifications or other corrective actions. Report NC for both from customers and at vendor end. Offers technical guidance and support in response to quality testing and analysis. Ensures contract compliance by reviewing and approving quality requirements for supplier purchase orders, manufacturing, and other related services.

1. Mandatory experience in Product inspection (Visual & Dimensional)2. Hands-on experience in Aluminum Die Casting (PDC / GDC) & Machining products commodity3. Hands-on experience in measuring instruments handling like (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Attribute gauges, Fixture etc.)4. Periodic review of Dock Audit NC closure and effectiveness monitoring.12. To conduct periodic associate evaluations to ensure the monitoring of the skill effectiveness.13. Preparation of standards, procedures, Quality alerts, skill matrix, and corrective action report, etc.14. Monitoring of internal and external customer complaint action closure.15. Machine Setup: Set up and program the contour measuring device (Mitutoyo make) and CMM machines(Zeiss) as per component specifications.Operational Control: Operate contour machine for turning components such as gears, shafts, and operate CMM machine for precise measurements.Tooling Management: Ensure correct tools are installed and aligned for machining operations.Quality Control: Inspect components for meeting specified standards, using measuring tools.Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to machine operation and measurement discrepancies.Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols during machine operation to prevent accidents.Documentation: Maintain records of production activities, including measurements and deviations.Communication: Collaborate with team to optimize processes and address quality concerns.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.Lead a team of quality engineers and inspectors to maintain product quality and minimize defects.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality metrics and drive continuous improvement.Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and address non-conformances.Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.Provide training and guidance to plant personnel on quality procedures and best practices.Drive a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.Manage relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure alignment on quality expectations and requirements.Stay updated on industry trends and developments in quality management practices.Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management within the forging, casting, and machining industry.Proven track record of implementing quality management systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulations relevant to the industry (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Root Cause Analysis.Proficiency in quality management software and systems.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

1. Ensuring that the quality management system meets the requirements of the IATF 16949:2016 standard.2. Coordinating and facilitating the certification audit and surveillance audits by the certification body.3. Managing the documentation and record-keeping requirements of the standard.4. Leading the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities and improve the QMS.5. Conduct regular internal audits to verify compliance with the standard and identify opportunities for improvement.6. Developing and maintaining the organization's quality policy and quality objectives.7. Ensuring that all employees are aware of the quality policy and their roles and responsibilities in achieving the quality objectives.8. Communicating with customers and suppliers to understand their quality requirements and address any quality issues that arise.
