job description:

• design & development of bumper system, exterior trims.

• end-to-end design and development of bumper system (exterior systems)

• define the concept of the product design to meet customer specifications & gd&t and ensure that the design for manufacturing aspects is fulfilled.

• knowledge and implementation of different regulation requirement for exterior systems

• performing the risk analysis (dfmea), dfm and dfa

• design/cad sign-off, bom creation/ management, requirement compliance.

• manage product dvp - validation for aesthetic, material, functional & geometry.

• manage fixture development activity with involvement of design & quality team along with customer for part approval & validating design as per gap & flush requirement.

• estimation and schedule preparation.

• exposure to apqp process from product design activity perspective.

• collaboration with team and cft on proactive knowledge sharing, execution, support.

• training/mentoring team to improve the team competency.

educational qualification: be mechanical

technical skills: catia v5, 3d cad

soft skills: communications skills, team building

experience: 8-10 years in production

experience in plastic product design and development plastic parts design exterior/interior trim design is required
