Manager Design & Development PuneCompany: Leading automotive engineering company in PuneJob description:• Design & development of Bumper system, exterior trims.• End-to-End design and development of bumper system (exterior systems)• Define the concept of the product design to meet customer specifications & GD&T and ensure that the design for manufacturing aspects is fulfilled.• Knowledge and implementation of different regulation requirement for exterior systems• Performing the risk analysis (DFMEA), DFM and DFA• Design/CAD sign-off, BOM creation/ management, requirement compliance.• Manage product DVP - validation for aesthetic, material, functional & geometry.• Manage fixture development activity with involvement of design & Quality team along with customer for part approval & validating design as per Gap & flush requirement.• Estimation and schedule preparation.• Exposure to APQP process from product design activity perspective.• Collaboration with team and CFT on proactive knowledge sharing, execution, support.• Training/mentoring team to improve the team competency.Educational Qualification: BE mechanicalTechnical skills: Catia V5, 3D CADSoft skills: Communications skills, Team buildingExperience: 8-10 years in production Experience in Plastic Product design and Development Plastic parts design Exterior/Interior Trim design is required
