Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and creative 2D Animator to join our dynamic team. As a 2D Animator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality animations that bring our characters and scenes to life. Your role will involve collaborating with our team of SMEs and developers to produce visually stunning animations that meet our project requirements.Responsibilities:Create high-quality 2D animations using various techniques with computer-generated animation software.Collaborate with storyboard and other team members to understand the project requirements and create animations that align with the overall vision and ensure that it effectively communicates the desired message.Utilize a variety of animation tools and software to bring characters, objects, and scenes to life through movement and expressions.Ensure consistency and continuity in the animation style throughout the project.Meet project deadlines and deliver animations within the specified timeframe.Incorporate feedback from the creative team and clients to make necessary adjustments and improvements to the animations.Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and techniques in 2D animation.Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a 2D Animator or in a similar role.Proficiency in using industry-standard software such as Adobe Animate, After Effects or similar animation tools.Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and character movement.Excellent artistic and storytelling abilities to bring characters and scenes to life.Solid knowledge of traditional and digital animation techniques.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, taking direction and feedback effectively.Attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines.Communication skills to effectively convey ideas and concepts to team members.Preferred Qualifications:A Course in Animation or a related field.Experience working on a variety of animation projects or short films.

As an animator, you will be required to collaborate with the creative team to understand and interpret storyboards, scripts, and project requirements. Create and animate 2D characters, ensuring they move convincingly and express emotions effectively. Animate backgrounds, objects, and environments to enhance the overall visual storytelling and create engaging and seamless animations.Sync character dialogues and lip movements accurately and incorporate feedback and revisions into animations. The candidate will be expected to work efficiently to meet project deadlines.Having a strong portfolio showcasing your 2D animation skills and examples of your previous work is a huge advantage. You should be a self-driven learner and be adaptable to improving your skill set.Above all you should have a creative mindset with the ability to bring characters and stories to life through animation.
