Job Title: Electrical Service EngineerDepartment: After-Sales Service / Electrical Maintenance / Technical SupportLocation: Tamil Nadu / ChennaiReports To: Service ManagerExperience: 5 to 10 Years*Job Summary:*We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Electrical Service Engineer to manage installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and industrial machines at customer locations. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel and have strong diagnostic and communication skills.*Key Responsibilities:*Install and commission machines and electrical control panels at client sites.Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in machines, panels, and circuits.Test, calibrate, and repair electrical systems to ensure reliable operation.Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and circuit layouts.Provide technical support and basic training to clients operators or maintenance teams.Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation.Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts and technical guidance.Travel extensively for service support across local, regional, and national locations.*Qualifications:*Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Additional training in PLCs, drives, automation, or panel wiring is an added advantage.*Skills Required:*Strong understanding of electrical systems, control panels, and industrial wiring.Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, contactors, relays, sensors, and motor controls.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.Basic troubleshooting of control circuits and automation systems.Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.Good communication and client-handling capabilities.Willingness to travel and flexibility with work hours as per service needs.
