Position : Senior Database AdministratorApplication Procedure :Kindly go through the below details and reach us at the earliest (Manager HR)ResponsibilitySQL Server Database Administrators are responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems. Their main goal is to ensure the availability and consistent performance of various corporate applicationsProfile RequiredGood Experience in Installation of various versions of SQL Server on various Windows Server platform as SQL Server fail-over cluster instances and Stand-alone Server.Migration of SQL server databases from one server to another server.Experience in applying the service packs and cumulative packs for servers.Experience in maintaining SQL server securities, authentication modes, creation of users, configuring permissions and assigning roles to usersExperience in Performance Tuning, Query optimization and database consistency checks using DBCC utilitiesResolving the Disk space issues, finding the root cause and implementing the permanent fixes.Verifying and resolving the SQL Server Blocking issues, Finding the root cause, and implementing the permanent fix.Ensuring that all databases are backed up on a regular basis by monitoring full, differential, transactional log backups.Creation of database maintenance plans, rebuild/defrag indexes, integrity checks.Protecting the databases by taking different kinds of Backups such as Full, Differential, and Transactional log backups.Good Experience in configuring and troubleshooting of Log Shipping, Database Mirroring, Transaction replicationProficient in refreshing the Test servers with production data.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with technical, non-technical easily and effectively, support, and business staff at all levels.
