As a Junior video editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, applying artistic editing techniques, and creating finished. These broadcast-worthy projects accurately reflect the vision of the production Head.To ensure success as a video editor, you should have expert knowledge of modern video editing techniques, be able to visualise directorial concepts, and work according to a strict time schedule. Ultimately, a top-notch video editor can perfectly translate a director's idea into a beautifully crafted film or video piece, worthy of broadcasting.Requirements:* Proven work experience as a video editor* Experience with digital technology and editing software packages.(e.g. Premiere pro, After Effects and Final Cut, Photoshop)* Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio* Creative mind and storytelling skills* Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film* Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects* Create rough and final cuts* Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running* Edit videos creatively, enhance story and match producer s vision* Constantly innovate and use new editing ideas and techniques.* Creative and storytelling skills* Should Know about Camera* Create and edit videos for Social Media, blogs, and Ads.* Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to the deadlines.* Retouch and manipulate videos.* Collaborate with team members to develop the best video to support the brand and Digital Marketing team.* Receive feedback and make necessary changes.
