In this full-time role, you will assist customers in selecting and fitting eyewear, ensuring they receive the best possible vision correction solutions.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Customer Consultation:** Engage with customers to understand their vision needs and preferences, helping them select the most suitable eyewear options.- **Eyewear Fitting:** Accurately fit glasses and contact lenses to customers by measuring their eyesight and ensuring proper alignment.- **Lens Recommendations:** Recommend various types of lenses and coatings based on customer needs, including single vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses.- **Inventory Management:** Maintain accurate records of eyewear inventory and assist in ordering new stock to ensure a diverse selection for customers.- **Customer Service:** Provide excellent customer support by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.**Required Skills and Expectations:**- **Optical Knowledge:** Understanding of different types of lenses, frames, and optical equipment is essential to assist customers effectively.- **Communication Skills:** Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed during their choices.- **Detail-Oriented:** Strong attention to detail is needed to ensure accurate measurements and fittings for eyewear.- **Problem-Solving Skills:** Ability to address customer issues and find solutions promptly and efficiently.- **Team Player:** Willingness to collaborate with colleagues in a supportive and friendly manner to achieve overall store goals.
