As a Picker & Packer, you will play an essential role in our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:- **Picking Items**: Accurately selecting products from the warehouse shelves based on orders to ensure the right items are prepared for shipping. This requires attention to detail to avoid errors.- **Packing Orders**: Carefully packing picked items into boxes, ensuring they are secure and ready for shipment. You will need to use appropriate packing materials to protect items during transit.- **Labeling Packages**: Affixing correct shipping labels on packages to ensure timely and accurate delivery. This involves checking addresses and order details to reduce delivery issues.- **Inventory Management**: Assisting with tracking inventory levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies in stock. This helps maintain proper stock levels and ensures a smooth operation.- **Maintaining Cleanliness**: Keeping work areas organized and clean to promote safety and efficiency within the warehouse.To succeed in this role, you should have:- A minimum education level of 10th grade.- A willingness to learn and work as part of a team.- Good attention to detail and accuracy in your work to prevent mistakes.- Physical strength and stamina, as the job involves lifting and moving packages.- Basic understanding of warehouse operations will be an advantage, but not mandatory.Candidates should be male and open to working full-time from our office in Jorhat.
