The job majorly involves home collections to draw blood and drop it in our partner centers. This job is offered to candidates with vehicles who are willing to work in Bengaluru.Phlebotomist DutiesOne of the primary job duties is to properly identify patients and correctly use phlebotomy methods (eg. venipuncture, skin puncture) and preserve patients health and maintain the quality of the samples. Should maintain professional standards and punctuality to provide positive service to the patient.Phlebotomist job requirements We are looking for important skills such as the presence of mind, Communication skills, and attention to detail. Certified in phlebotomy/ MLT/ DMLT and have knowledge of puncture techniques. Flexible to commute within the city on a two wheeler. If you are dedicated to our patients and have a firm yet kind hands, we are eager to meet you.RESPONSIBILITIESSchedule home collection visits on a daily basis and coordinate with patients.Arrange daily activities based on the urgency of requests for fluid samples.Identify patients and personal information based on their ID, documents, or other means.Determine the right venipuncture method based on the patients age, health, etc.Reassure patients and help them relax.Identify the right vein to puncture.Draw blood using sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment.Ensure optimal quality and quantity of samples.Label samples correctly and send/deliver them for testing.Answer patients questions and provide them with suitable answers.Maintain accurate records on fluid specimens and tests.Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards while working.Help with blood transfusions as and when needed.Experience with effective puncturing techniques.Identifying and understanding the patients method.Knowledge of legal requirements with respect to drawing and handling blood and fluid samples.Ability to use computers to key in information.Excellent communication skills and eye for detail.
