Responsibilities for site engineerBe able to read and understand drawings and schedulesHave the ability to take off and schedule material quantities accuratelyShall visit project sites to check and monitor the progress of the work and write reports after the visitUnderstand what constitutes as additional workEnsure construction operations are carried out in accordance with the contract requirements using the appropriate proceduresEnsure that only the latest issue drawings and documents are being usedCarry out inspectionsComplete as-built and quality records as required by Site ManagerHave proven experience within a similar roleHave qualifications in a civil engineering related subjectQualifications for site engineerDiploma/ EngineerTo assist in the production of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and other documentation as required to gain Permits to Work in a timely mannerTo proactively interact with other site based teams, building a good rapport, ensuring the smooth flow of information to enable the efficient running of the site operationTo work in absolute compliance with all site procedures and embrace the customers Zero Harm to People and the Environment mantraCarry out any additional tasks that may be required
