Sri Venkateswaraa University is a State University incorporated under Tamil Nadu Private Universities Act 2019. The Sponsoring Body received the University status through Government Order GO Ms No 81, Higher Education Department (K2) Dt 26.02.2021, Government of Tamil Nadu . The University intends to establish world class infrastructure to facilitate Medical, Dental, Paramedical, Nursing and Agriculture education through its campuses in the State. Sri Venkateswaraa Medcity is a 300 beds Medical College hospital owned by the University. The University has future plans in setting up Schools of Engineering, Applied Sciences, Liberal Arts, Law, Management and Hospitality.
