We are looking for a Fire Fighting Technician to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will help ensure safety by maintaining and repairing fire fighting systems.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Installation of Fire Fighting Equipment:** You will be responsible for setting up fire fighting systems, including extinguishers and sprinklers, to ensure they are properly positioned and functional.- **Regular Maintenance Checks:** Conduct frequent inspections of fire safety equipment to confirm they are in good working condition and compliant with safety standards.- **Troubleshooting Issues:** Identify and solve any problems with fire fighting equipment, making necessary repairs or replacements to ensure optimal performance.- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of all inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed on fire fighting systems for compliance and future reference.- **Collaboration with Team Members:** Work closely with other technicians and safety personnel to ensure a coordinated approach to fire safety procedures and protocols.**Required Skills and Expectations:**- A completed I.T.I. education is mandatory, with a focus on technical trades related to fire safety or a relevant field.- Up to 2 years of hands-on experience is preferred, although fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.- Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and standards is essential.- Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to effectively diagnose and address issues with fire safety systems.- Ability to work well in teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment as needed.
