We are seeking a Manufacturing Workshop Technician to join our manufacturing facility to operate and maintain 3 Axis CNC Router, 4 axis vertical milling machine, vacuum forming machine & laser cutting machines to offer services to our clients. We have already set up a CNC Machining facility with multiple milling and cutting machines. The CNC Machining Centre is part of the larger MATTER Facility that provides for prototyping and pilot production facilities across all the engineering domains.Role: Manufacturing Machine Workshop Technician/ Operator/ SupervisorPositions Available: Multiple Operators (junior/ senior) Employment type: Full timeRoles and ResponsibilitiesOperate high precision laser engraving/ cutting/ milling machines efficiently Perform daily operations with minimal supervisionOperate Scales, Calipers, Laser Cutting Equipment, Basic hand tools, PLCs, Microscope & IM (Instant Measure Machine)Assure all quality checks are completed and documented properly on the production specs logInspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properlyCheck and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionalityPerform routine maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment and work area in accordance with company standards and manufactures machine recommendationsMaintain routine dust collector service and associated logbook in assigned area and report equipment deficienciesMaintain machines and ensure all tools and materials needed are on hand to ensure continuous productionPrepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as cutting, milling, drilling, grinding, etc.,Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading mechanical drawings, blueprints etc.,Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the required functionPrepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machinesPrepare tools, jigs & fixtures etc
