We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join our growing clinical team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose sight conditions, and provide tailored vision correction solutions. You will work closely with our staff to deliver exceptional patient care and promote overall eye health.Key ResponsibilitiesComprehensive Eye Exams: Conduct thorough eye and vision tests to assess visual acuity, depth perception, and eye coordination.Disease Diagnosis: Identify sight problems and ocular diseases (e.g., glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts) using advanced diagnostic equipment.Corrective Lenses: Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses and contact lenses based on individual patient needs.Therapeutics & Care: Prescribe medications for the treatment of eye conditions, and provide pre- and post-operative care.Health Education: Educate patients on preventive eye care, visual hygiene, and proper contact lens maintenance.Holistic Monitoring: Spot early signs of systemic diseases (e.g., diabetes or high blood pressure) and make necessary specialist referrals.Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient medical files in compliance with industry standards.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school.Licensing: Valid state/national license to practice optometry.Clinical Skills: Proficiency in using standard diagnostic tools and managing ocular diseases.Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication skills, high attention to detail, and a patient-first approach
