Gita Ashram, spread over 75 bighas land in the lap of Manikoot hills of lush Himalya on the way to holy Neelkanth temple in Swargashram of Rishikesh, is currently known as M.M. SWAMI VEDVYASANANDSARSWATI SHRI GITA ASHRAM INTERNATIONAL CHARITABLE TRUST (REGD.) and was founded by the great Saint H.H. SWAMI VEDVYASANAND JI SARASWATI of the Himalyas in the year 1960. Maharaj Shri was born in a well educated and highly religious.
