Pay: 25,000.00 - 28,000.00 per monthJob description:Job Title: Fitter (Skilled / Experienced)Department: Maintenance / ProductionLocation: Chandrapur FactoryReporting To: Maintenance Manager / Plant HeadJob Summary:The Fitter is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and smooth functioning of plant machinery. This role is focused on hands-on experience and practical skills rather than formal education. Candidates with strong field experience in industrial maintenance will be preferred.Key Responsibilities:Carry out repair and maintenance of plant machinery (furnaces, pipelines, motors, blowers, etc.)Perform fitting, assembly, dismantling, and installation of equipmentIdentify machine problems and fix breakdowns quicklyHandle welding, gas cutting, and fabrication work (if required)Ensure proper alignment, tightening, and smooth operation of machinesSupport preventive maintenance activitiesMaintain tools and equipment properlyFollow safety practices and use PPEKeep work area clean and organisedSkills Required (Most Important):Strong hands-on experience in fitting and maintenance workAbility to handle breakdown situations independentlyBasic understanding of industrial machinesExperience in welding/fabrication (preferred)Practical problem-solving abilityAbility to work in factory conditionsQualification:No strict education requirementITI Fitter is preferred butExperience:Minimum 3-8 years of relevant industrial experienceCandidates with good practical knowledge will be preferred over qualificationWorking Conditions:Factory environment (heat, dust, noise)May require working in shifts or during breakdownsImportant Note:We value experience, skills, and work capability more than formal education.
