As a VMC Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) to produce precision components. Your work will ensure that the manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently.**Key responsibilities:**- **Operate VMC Machines:** Safely and efficiently run VMC machinery to manufacture parts according to specifications, ensuring high-quality output.- **Set Up Machines:** Prepare and set up the VMC equipment for production, including loading tools and fixtures, to achieve optimal performance.- **Monitor Production:** Regularly check the operation of machines and machining processes, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity.- **Conduct Quality Checks:** Perform inspections on finished products using measuring tools to ensure they meet specified dimensions and quality standards.- **Maintain Equipment:** Keep the VMC machines clean and well-maintained by following daily maintenance routines and addressing minor repairs as needed.- **Document Work:** Accurately record production data, such as quantities produced and any issues encountered during operations, to assist in tracking performance.**Required skills and expectations:**Candidates should have a minimum of 1 to 5 years of experience operating VMC machinery. A basic education level of 10th grade is required. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and capable of following technical drawings.
