Job Purpose:To provide expert-level testing, commissioning, maintenance, and service support for transformers, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Testing & Diagnostics:Conduct electrical tests such as insulation resistance, winding resistance, transformer turns ratio (TTR), and vector group tests.Perform advanced diagnostic tests, including Tan Delta, Partial Discharge (PD), and Sweep Frequency Response Analysis (SFRA).Analyze test results and provide recommendations for corrective actions.Commissioning:Supervise the installation and commissioning of transformers at project sites.Execute functional and performance tests in compliance with IEC and IEEE standards.Ensure seamless integration of transformers into the power grid.Service & Maintenance:Perform on-site troubleshooting and fault diagnosis for transformers.Undertake repairs, retrofitting, and preventive maintenance activities.Replace defective components and ensure restored operational efficiency.Technical Documentation:Prepare test reports, commissioning logs, and service records.Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance and client reference.Client Support:Provide technical support to clients during and post-project implementation.Train client teams on proper operation and maintenance of transformers.Safety & Compliance:Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance standards during testing and commissioning.Conduct risk assessments and ensure workplace safety.Key Skills:Expertise in transformer testing, commissioning, and servicing processes.Proficiency in handling equipment like TTR meters, SFRA analyzers, and Tan Delta testers.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.In-depth knowledge of industry standards such as IEC 60076 and IEEE C57.

Job Title: Testing and Commissioning EngineerJob Purpose:To ensure that all equipment, including transformers, motors, and generators, is installed, tested, and commissioned according to industry standards and client requirements.Step 1: Define Key ResponsibilitiesTesting:Conduct high-voltage and insulation resistance tests on transformers, generators, and motors.Perform functional tests to ensure proper operation.Troubleshoot faults and rectify issues during testing phases.Commissioning:Supervise equipment installation on-site and ensure adherence to safety protocols.Configure, calibrate, and validate the functionality of equipment.Conduct performance analysis and generate detailed reports.Documentation:Prepare testing and commissioning protocols.Document test results and commissioning records for submission to clients.Maintain compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.Step 2: Highlight Key SkillsDeep understanding of electrical systems, transformers, and generators.Proficiency with testing equipment (e.g., Tan Delta, SFRA, or TTR meters).Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.Knowledge of industry standards like IEC, IEEE, or IS codes.

Job Title: Transformer Production TraineeJob Purpose:To assist in the manufacturing, assembly, and testing of transformers while gaining hands-on experience and developing technical expertise in transformer production processes.Key Responsibilities:Transformer Assembly:Assist in winding coil assemblies and assembling cores.Support insulation installation and tank fabrication.Work on assembling auxiliary components as per design specifications.Quality Control:Conduct basic inspections of transformer components during production.Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and rectify minor defects.Learn the use of testing equipment for initial validations.Technical Support:Aid senior engineers in troubleshooting production issues.Help prepare reports and logs documenting assembly and testing results.Training & Development:Participate in training sessions focused on production techniques, safety protocols, and quality assurance.Gain knowledge of industry standards like ISO, IEC, and other quality frameworks.Collaboration:Work closely with production teams to meet manufacturing deadlines.Coordinate with supervisors to ensure seamless workflows.Required Skills:Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.Familiarity with production tools and machinery (training provided).Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Qualifications:Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.Freshers or candidates with 01 years of manufacturing experience are preferred.Positive attitude towards hands-on learning.Work Environment:Production floor or workshop-based role with exposure to assembly tasks and testing equipment.Opportunity to advance to skilled roles with experience and training.
