Seriate Innovations Private Limited is a Deep Tech company geared to deliver state of the art process solutions and equipment for the Pharmaceutical and FMCG segment. About the role:The role requires candidates to engage in procurement activities with strong experience in vendor management. He/She would be required to adapt cost-effective ways to support the procurement plan of the organization at large whilst ensuring necessary quality control and compliance.Responsibilities:Conduct market research to find new suppliers, supplier evaluation, and supplier auditsCommunicate with vendors on product details, technical specifications, cost estimation, and other requirements.Making purchase orders for suppliersEnsure that procurement activities comply with company policies & relevant regulations.Manage delivery schedules & maintain Inventory to prevent shortages or overstock.Working with the factory team and updating on the arrival of goodsClassify vendors into categories by product type, cost, etc. & maintain vendor database for seamless management.Evaluate vendor performance, review & provide feedback regularly.Qualifications:Bachelors in Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation, or other related Engineering disciplines0-3 years of relevant experienceProficiency in MS Office Suite is a mustExcellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to negotiate with suppliersAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh level of organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skills

We are a start-up company based out of IIT Bombay. Our company works on designing innovative solutions for semi-solid formulation manufacturing. We are currently looking for an experienced process engineer to lead the product development team. The ideal candidate should have 5 years+ experience in process design and engineering with conceptual understanding of equipment design and process controls.
