We are looking for a skilled VMC Setter to join our team in Kesnand. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 7 years of experience and an I.T.I. qualification. This is a full-time position that requires working from the office.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Machine Setup:** You will be responsible for setting up Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) according to specified requirements to ensure proper functioning.- **Program Selection:** You need to select and load appropriate machining programs based on the production needs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.- **Quality Control:** Regularly inspect finished products using measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.- **Maintenance:** Perform routine maintenance checks on the VMC machines to prevent downtime and address any technical issues quickly.- **Collaboration:** Work closely with the production team to meet production targets and maintain a smooth workflow.**Required Skills and Expectations:**The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of VMC operations and programming. You must be detail-oriented, with a focus on precision and quality. Strong problem-solving abilities are essential for addressing and troubleshooting machine issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to technical specifications is vital. The position requires a proactive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure. You must also be physically capable of handling machinery and tools safely.

1) Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications and engineering drawings.2) Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.3) Create and modify CNC programs (G-code) to ensure optimal machining.4) Select and install proper tooling, jigs, and fixtures.5) Monitor machine operations to ensure high-quality output and adherence to tolerances.6) Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues.7) Conduct first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks using measuring instruments (micrometers, vernier calipers, gauges, etc.).8) Coordinate with the production and quality team for process improvements.9) Maintain records of work performed, including machine settings, tool changes, and inspection results.10) Ensure safety and cleanliness in the work area, following all shop-floor protocols.
