Roles & Responsibilities:1. Design Development & Drafting:Work on AutoCAD and various 3D CAD software to create and modify designs.Develop new designs for different rubber machines and create detailed drafting for each project.Generate assembly, fabrication, and general arrangement (GA) drawings for rubber machines.Create free-hand sketches of machine parts and assemblies as required.2. Component Selection:Select appropriate standard components for machines such as motors, gearboxes, couplings, and pulleys based on project requirements.3. Bill of Materials (BOM):Prepare and maintain detailed bills of materials in CAD software or Excel, ensuring all required parts and materials are documented.4. Inventory & Stock Management:Maintain accurate records of raw materials and casting stock to ensure availability for ongoing and future projects.5. Client Communication:Send General Arrangement (GA) drawings to clients for approval and incorporate any feedback or revisions as needed.6. Manufacturing Coordination:Develop cutting plans for plasma cutting machines to optimize material usage and minimize waste.Collaborate with the production, quality control, and vendor teams to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to design specifications.7. Documentation & Updates:Ensure all drawings and concepts are kept confidential to protect intellectual property.Update manuals and technical documentation with corrections and new details for completed projects.
