JOB PURPOSE: Leading technical interface in the project, internally and towards the customer In charge of: Product definition, DFMEA, Design to cost, Design reviews + definition counter measures, Definition of TCD, DVP,... (accountable for project technical documentation), Industrialization feasibility agreement, prototype planning, serial production support Communication:Leading technical interface to customer in a project Represent internally the customer towards plant, suppliers and other parties involved. Maintain specific customer/project knowledge and history therefore, is the 1st contact for serial follow-up and VA/VE activityCo-ordination:Manage one or several mechanical product solutions in an application project (or acquisition) on spec, on time and on costTechnical project management Execution:In charge of the technical definition according to customer requirements and internal design rules Make sure that 3D, 2D and Stack-up file are done according to technical definition and customer surrounding parts .Design calculation before new release and design verification for changes in design w.r.t strength and durability Support and coordination of overall product validation (Performance on bench, NVH and vehicle tests) Coordination of sample parts, quantity determination for internal need (bench, vehicle, NVH, laboratory) Ensure product industrial feasibility (AFI) with CBI plants and suppliers Provide application cost and development planning during acquisition phase. Creation of technical documentation like BOMs, DVPs, FMEAs and other project related documents.Analytical & Problem Solving Result Orientation Team Work Ownership & Management courage

Job Role : CAD Designer Application Job Purpose : Design product based on customer specification Area of AccountabilitiesLead technical CAD activities Present to Product Engineer the technical package: 3D/2D, stack-up file, Check list 3D, sketch, BOM with weight Share 3D/2D with other departments (FEA, TEF, PUR) Participate to meeting with suppliers for feasibility confirmation Design, under the responsibility of the Product Engineer, products according design guidelines during acquisition projects and serial follow-up Use the necessary tools for the conception of the product (Design guidelines, stack-up, FEA, Check list 3D, ) Guaranty the industrial feasibility of the product according design rules Execution Execution : Prepare & release of technical drawings, standard, 3D in PLM/EDMA Prepare & release of material & BOM in SAP Release of ECR & related technical documents. Provide design proposals.
