Sankalp Welfare Society is a nonprofit registered NGO based at Gurgaon. Sankalp was set up in 1996 as an endeavor to give a new lease of life to underprivileged children. Commander K K Choudhary, a retired naval officer and a group of like-minded, concerned and committed citizens were driven by the wholehearted passion to better the conditions of the large number of children of construction workers and migratory labour in Gurgaon. Their zeal to make a difference resulted in Sankalp.
