Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required.Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers' well-being into account, and that also minimize the carbon footprint.Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production, and sharing knowledge with co-workers.Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.Drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects.Scheduling meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders.Analyzing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.Obtaining any materials and equipment required.

Oversees production operations on assigned shift.Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient operations.Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.Ensures that products are identified, weighed, and warehoused correctly.Troubleshoots issues that arise.Notifies maintenance department of equipment problems.Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.Ensures paperwork is completed and signed correctly.Performs other related duties as assigned.

Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.Constructing base templates if necessary.Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines.Setting up metalwork machinery including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes, and shears.Double-checking design specifications before commencing with cutting work.Fabricating and constructing metal components.Grinding and finishing completed products.Performing quality checks on completed products.Conforming with state and company safety regulations.Completing job reports.

Analyze all root causes for all fabrication issues and resolve same and implement all new process tools according to required order.Coordinate with technicians and provide support to all teams and maintain quality of all work processes in systems.Manage all communication with supervisors and ensure efficiency of all fabrication process and resolve all issues for processes.Design various ideas for all ladders and gantries and prepare detail drawings for all fabrication processes.Prepare estimates and quotes for all supply materials and assist to fabricate and weld all products.Plan all materials for new products and ensure optimal utilization of all resources and administer product orders and ensure compliance to all timeframe for all fabricated products.Coordinate with sales team and prepare all product designs and develop products for R&D team.Assist factory manager and prepare reports on regular basis after final inspections.Manage and reconcile all work orders with help of vendors and prepare required drawing and evaluate all welding joints.Maintain quality for all fabrication from conceptualization to implementation and perform inspection for all painting and sandblast.Provide support to all total productive maintenance programs and design all fabrication processes and appropriate schedules.Collaborate with work team and assist in delivery projects.

Operate lathe in the machining of non standard components.Measure workpieces and verify dimensions using appropriate tools. Be familiar with boring, drilling, reaming, threading and tapping operations.Be familiar with the preparation of tools for machining.Load feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces. Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing and threading.Detecting malfunctions, replacing worn tools, cleaning debris from machine.Report any faulty operation of equipment or defective materials to the area supervisor.Operate lifting devices for movement of materials and other equipment as needed.Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly.Abide by the company safety and personnel policiesCarry out any other responsibilities that the supervisor may assign from time to time or as needed by the company.Ability to work overtime as needed.
