Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging tests, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other radiographic procedures, to assess and diagnose medical conditions. Review patient medical histories and consult with referring physicians to determine appropriate imaging procedures and protocols. Operate and calibrate radiographic equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality images. Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions to obtain optimal images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Analyze and interpret radiographic images, identifying and documenting any abnormalities, lesions, or pathologies. Prepare detailed and comprehensive reports based on image analysis and findings, conveying accurate diagnoses and recommendations to referring physicians. Collaborate and consult with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, surgeons, and oncologists, to contribute to the development of effective treatment plans. Stay current with advancements in radiology technology, techniques, and medical knowledge through continuous professional development and education. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the handling and storage of patient data, ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy. Provide guidance and supervision to radiology technicians and other staff members involved in imaging procedures. Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, imaging procedures performed, and diagnostic reports. Requirements: Medical degree (MBBS) from an accredited institution. MD in Radiology or equivalent specialization in Radiology from a recognized university. Valid medical license or certification as a Radiologist, issued by the relevant regulatory authorities. Proven experience working as a Radiologist, preferably in a healthcare setting or medical facility.

Prepare patients for procedures: involves explaining procedures to patients, positioning them on the imaging table, and making sure they are comfortable and properly shielded from radiation. 2) Operate imaging equipment: To use x-ray machines, computed tomography (CT) scanners, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines, and other types of imaging equipment to create images of the body. Adjust the equipment to produce the best possible images and ensure the safety of patients and themselves from radiation. 3) Analyze images: analyze images to ensure that they are of high quality and to capture all necessary information. To liaise with physicians or other healthcare professionals to interpret the images and make diagnoses. 4) Maintain equipment: responsible for maintaining imaging equipment, ensuring that it is clean, properly calibrated, and in good working order. Also order supplies and perform routine maintenance. 5) Record patient information: record patient information, such as medical history and test results, in electronic health records (EHRs). 6) Follow safety procedures: to minimize radiation exposure to themselves and their patients. 7) Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards.
