- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy: The senior pharmacist will be responsible for managing all aspects of the pharmacy, including inventory management, customer service, and staff supervision.- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations: It is crucial for the senior pharmacist to stay updated on all laws and regulations related to the pharmacy industry and ensure that the pharmacy is in compliance with all of them.- Provide medication counseling to customers: The senior pharmacist should be knowledgeable about various medications and their effects in order to provide accurate information and counseling to customers.- Supervise pharmacy staff: The senior pharmacist will be in charge of hiring, training, and supervising other pharmacy staff members to ensure smooth operations.- Maintain accurate records: It is essential for the senior pharmacist to keep accurate records of all medications dispensed, inventory levels, and customer interactions.Required Skills and Expectations:- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) and possess a valid pharmacist license.- Should have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience working as a pharmacist, preferably in a retail setting.- Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and experience managing a team of pharmacy staff.- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
