Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Grinding Operator experienced in finishing mild steel (MS) and stainless steel (SS) sheets and components to ensure high-quality surface finishes for our products. The ideal candidate will operate grinding and buffing equipment safely while maintaining excellent consistency and precision.Key ResponsibilitiesGrind, deburr, and finish MS & SS sheet metal surfaces to specifications using grinding/buffing machines and hand tools.Set up and adjust grinding and buffing equipment based on job requirements.Select and change abrasive wheels, discs, and polishing compounds.Inspect finished components for surface quality and compliance with standards.Maintain machines, perform cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Keep accurate records of work completed and report issues to supervisors.QualificationsRequired:Prior experience operating grinding, buffing, or polishing equipment.Knowledge of working with MS & SS materials.Ability to read work instructions and basic drawings.Strong attention to detail and quality focus.Preferred:One plus year experience in grinding and buffingSkillsGrinding machine operation and surface finishing techniques.Basic measurement tools (calipers, gauges).Safety compliance and machine upkeep.Teamwork and good communication.

Job SummaryThe Sheet Metal Fabrication Work Supervisor oversees daily sheet metal fabrication operations, leads and develops the fabrication team, ensures compliance with quality and safety standards, and coordinates workflow to achieve timely and efficient production targets. This role requires hands-on expertise in sheet metal processes combined with strong leadership and planning skills.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, coordinate, and support the sheet metal fabrication team, assigning work and monitoring productivity and performance.Interpret and review blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications to plan tasks and allocate resources effectively.Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.Ensure all fabrication activities meet company quality standards and specifications through regular inspections.Enforce strict safety protocols and regulatory compliance; conduct safety training and toolbox talks.Identify opportunities for process improvements, waste reduction, and productivity enhancements.Monitor inventory of materials, tools, and equipment; coordinate timely ordering and requisitions.Address and resolve production challenges, technical issues, or workforce conflicts proactively.Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for management review.Mentor, train, and develop team members to uphold best practices in fabrication and safety.Required QualificationsProven experience of 5+ years in sheet metal fabrication
