- Research, collect and compile the appropriate teaching material for the children.- Maintain a safe and clean class environment- Provide basic care facilities to the children- Monitor the childrens performances and make sure they are improving their learning capacity- Encourage children to communicate with one another. Ensure that there are no occurrences of any fights- Identify behavioral issues with the children and take action to resolve them- Collaborate with other staff to make the environment and the learning process better for children- Designing and following a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material- Balancing your teaching between logical and social exercises- Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the childs abilities- Evaluate childrens performance to make sure they are on the right learning track- Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action

Duties/Responsibilities:Structures a developmentally appropriate educational experience in the classroom using methods such as storytelling, games, and activities.Educating children about fundamental concepts, such as colors, letters, numbers, and shapes.Encouraging social interactions between children and improving their self-esteem.Teaches students to follow rules and procedures in the classroom and school.Monitors students progress throughout the year and evaluates preparedness for kindergarten.Enforces safety and security standards for children, staff, and visitors.Maintains required paperwork for individual student files, attendance and incident reports, and other necessary records.Maintains knowledge of research, developments, and best practices in early childhood education.Preparing for lessons by gathering materials and setting up workstations.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Extensive knowledge of early childhood development principles and developmentally appropriate educational practices.Enthusiastic personality that will engage preschool children.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with adults and children.Ability to collaborate and communicate with teachers, support staff, parents, and students in a positive and constructive way.Excellent organizational skills.Ability to plan, manage, and evaluate curriculum.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required for recordkeeping and documentation.
