- Responsible for processing cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently.- Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly in the computer system and reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift.- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints in a professional manner.- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves and ensuring all products are properly displayed.- Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and alerting management of any discrepancies.- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, and exchanges to prevent loss or fraud.Required Skills and Expectations:- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a cashier in a retail or similar environment.- High school diploma or equivalent (12th Pass) is required.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash transactions.- Excellent communication and customer service skills.- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.- Proficient in using computers and cash register systems.- Ability to work well in a team and follow directions from management.
