We are looking for an experienced and motivated CNC Operator to join our team!As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for programming, setting up and overseeing operations of CNC machines.

Job descriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including the following, however, other duties may apply.)1. Generate VMC/CNC programs from the CAD/CAM software (Siemens NX).2. Excellent print reading skills. 3. Generate accurate CAD/CAM drawings of parts using supplied print or sketch.4.Great working knowledge and understanding of machine tooling and proper usage.5. Great working knowledge and understanding of inserts and chip breaker function.6. Ability to perform online programming (at a machine control).7. Ability to perform offline programming (not on a machine control).8. Generate and maintain information in Excel or Word based off of VMC/CNC programs.9. Control the handling of VMC/CNC programs from the server to VMC/CNC machines.10. Monitor, document, and control any changes made to VMC/CNC programs.11. Have general design concepts of fixture or work holding components.12. Create and maintain the part manufacturing processes.13. Needs to be proficient creating/designing, editing, maintaining Microsoft Excel files.14. Needs to have a general understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.15. Needs to be able to read and follow written instructions or procedures.16. Troubleshoot machining related issues (tool, manufacturing process, or mechanical).17. General and practical knowledge of measuring tools, equipment, and concepts.18. Excellent working knowledge of geometric tolerancing and dimensioning.19. Assist and aid the Manufacturing Engineer.20. Other duties as assigned by the area supervisor.
