Petrotec Retail Petroleum Equipment India Private Ltd. is strengthening the development department in Mumbai (Maharashtra) with a R&D Executive/Assistant Manager (Firmware) positionGender : (Male / Female)Educational Qualifications : BE/BTech/MTech/MS (Electronics) or (Electronics & Telecomm)In this position you will :Lead and manage the firmware design/development team of the R&D Mumbai groupLead and manage the responsibility of designing, developing the required fail-safe firmware of a given project / product and deliver it within expected time & costWork collaboratively ,Actively participate in the product development cycle, propose innovative/creative solutionsPrepare detailed product specs, design, code, debug, test, and release the firmware versionPlan, delegate, track, review and manage the execution of projectsConduct project review meetings, prepare status report, root cause analysis, and do continuous improvements in product and systemsFind vendors, get quotation, place order (after approval), test samples and prepare reportCarry out external certification assignment with ERTL / SAMEER / ARAI / CDAC / NII etc.Deliver the targets or responsibilities given by R&D Mumbai HeadRemain up to date with new technologies and best practicesBe an active Team player contributing in product developments & continuous improvementsWhat do we expect from you?10 - 14 years of experience of working in embedded electronics domain with at least 5 years of experience of firmware design/development Taking responsibility of designing, developing and maintaining the entire firmware of a microcontroller (32/16 bit) based product (bare-metal or using RTOS)Experience of leading and managing projects and a team Experience of using protocols (RS485, I2C, SPI, CAN2.0b, TCP/IP, USB, Wireless), interfacing Sensors (opto, magnetic encoder), keypad, LCDExperience of implementing AES256 encryption/decryption, Hashing (SHA-2)
