Started in a garage in the year 1989, Pelican was initially driven by two employees and a passionate engineer Mr. Ghansham Vaswani . Owing to his great interest in telecommunications, he decided to implement his in-depth knowledge about telecommunications in business which led to the birth of Pelican Telecom. In the early days the company was characterized by simplicity and determination. Since telephones were not commonplace in offices and homes, the only way to communicate with the customers was to visit STD booths during late hours. Also, all documentation related work was done using typewriters.
