Job Title: Food Safety OfficerLocation: JamshedpurCompany: AGSS Analytical and Research Lab (P) Ltd.Salary: 13,000 - 15,000 Per monthRole SummaryAs a Food Safety Officer at AGSS Analytical and Research Lab (P) Ltd., you will play a key role in upholding food safety and hygiene standards for our clients in the food and catering sectors. Your responsibilities will include implementing food safety protocols, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Success in this role is demonstrated by minimized food safety risks, enhanced hygiene practices, and strict adherence to food safety regulations, supporting our mission of delivering reliable analytical and safety solutions.ResponsibilitiesConduct Regular Audits: Perform site inspections to evaluate compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, document observations, and recommend improvements.Implement Food Safety Protocols: Develop, implement, and update food safety protocols, aligning with FSSAI guidelines and industry best practices.Training and Awareness: Provide training to client staff on food safety, handling, and hygiene best practices.Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all practices meet national and local food safety regulations, and proactively address non-compliance issues.Risk Assessment and Management: Identify and mitigate potential food safety hazards to prevent contamination and foodborne illnesses.Record Maintenance: Keep comprehensive records of audits, compliance checks, and training activities.Client Communication: Act as a primary contact for food safety-related inquiries, guiding clients on maintaining safety standards.QualificationsEducation: Bachelors degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Environmental Health, or a related field.Food safety certifications (e.g., HACCP) are a plus.Experience: Freshers are allowedSkills: knowledge of food safety regulations (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000)Other: Willingness to travel within Ajmer as nee
