Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled C++ Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in software development, with a strong focus on C++ programming, and a comprehensive understanding of modern IT infrastructure. This role involves developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex applications across various platforms, and application development projects, and collaborating within agile teams to deliver innovative solutions. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies.Responsibilities * Design, develop, and optimize high-performance C++ applications for diverse platforms and environments. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams* Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews, and testing. * Assist in troubleshooting complex technical issues related to application performance or infrastructure. Experience* 5+ years experience in developing multithreaded C++ software systems* Experience in developing real-time C++ software systems* Experience working on a fast paced Agile development team* Experience in Test-Driven Development or behavioral-driven development methodology* Experience with C++17 standard* Experience with profiling, memory leak detection and other code analysis* Ability to teach updated C++17 standards and design patterns to other developers

ResponsibilitiesContribute to the full test lifecycle, including analysis & design, implementation, test execution, and release processesApplication of proven QA techniques and experience working with teams to fully understand requirements to develop appropriate test methods and casesExecute tests and report on testing outcomes of functional and non-functional testingWork with cross-functional team members to advise and ensure appropriate QA occursStrong client focus, with an emphasis on quality and stability in line with service level agreementsOur Ideal Candidate Has:3+ years of experience in software engineering and/or quality assurance3+ years of experience in software development and test automation3+ years Python and/or shell scripting experienceNice to have C++ programming experienceExperience with other programming/scripting languages a plusExperience with continuous integration / continuous delivery highly desiredExperience with test automation highly desiredExperience with containerization and orchestration highly desiredExcellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organizational skills
