DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES-Performs skilled work in preparing metal and other surfaces on automotive equipment for painting and in applying lacquers, primers, synthetic enamels, polyurethane, and epoxy with spray guns and other auto painting equipment to automotive and construction equipment; and does related work.-Fills small dents and scratches with body filler and cleans and prepares surfaces to ensure paint and other finishes will adhere properly.-May prepare cost estimates of labor and materials for pending automotive paint jobs.-Color blending into adjacent panels for a better color match to existing vehicle paint.-Works with potentially hazardous materials so attention to safety and personal protection are essential.-Mix and spray paint and primer per work instructions.-Clean panels in preparation for painting and priming.-Document the materials used in the process to maintain traceability.-Management of the collection, disposal, and storage of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes.-Maintain spray equipment.-Select appropriate paint or mix paints using automated paint mixing equipment.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS-Proven experience with automotive painting (at least 2-4 years).-Experienced with applying water and solvent borne paint systems.-Experienced with applying effect coatings.-An understanding of proper spraying techniques.-An understanding of common defects, what causes paint failures and how to correct them.-Ability to work within a schedule and adapt to sudden changes.-Self-starter with the ability to properly manage time.-Works independently with moderate supervision.-Must be able to paint a diverse range of vehicles.

Ensures that all inventory and stock management systems are maintained and updated accurately, and within the agreed parameters.Receives delivered materials, confirms that delivered goods match purchase order specifications of quantity, condition, model number, etc., completes all necessary paperwork for stock items received.Track, record and resolve any discrepancies on received orders.Manages all stock movements in and out, and maintain complete log of all stock movement to ensure stocks are tallied with the transfer documents.Maintains the storeroom and the allocation of space for stoc; ensures the storeroom meets defined regulations.Supervises the implementation of health and safety procedures.Process incoming requisitions and issue the requested items/materials to the requestor.Ensure the quantity requested and the quality issued always matches.Ensure store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the materials.Performing physical inventory counts to ensure that all materials are accounted for at the end of each accounting period.Identify and report any slow-moving items to avoid over purchasing.Maintain a neat, clean and safe working environment as per government regulation.Organizes and maintains storage and inventory areas for efficient material storage and handling, including labeling/tagging, stocking and organizing stock items on shelving.

Analyze the elements of an electrical project and create an accurate cost estimation for the project as a whole.Design and develop electrical schematics, diagrams and drawings using industry-standard software and tools.Leads the manufacture, installation and testing of electrical equipment to ensure that products meet specifications and codes.
