The Consultant Sonologist will be responsible for providing ultrasound services to patients, interpreting ultrasound images, and providing accurate diagnosis and treatment recommendations.Explain exam procedures and results to patients and their families.Document exam findings and prepare reports for referring physicians.Work collaboratively with other medical professionals, such as radiologists and physicians, to provide patient care.Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.Follow established protocols and regulations.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.

Administer general, regional, and local and block anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.To provide anesthesia to surgical cases involving the heart, lungs, and other procedures ranging from minimally invasive surgery to complex multi-stage aortic surgery. Management of patients physical condition in pre and post-care units through the use of invasive monitors.Ability to perform the physical examination and assessment of patients, interpretation of diagnostic test results, airway management, pharmacological management, and emergency cardioversion defibrillation.As an intensivist, he/she oversees many decisions involved in a critically ill patients care and coordinates all the other services the patient may need.
