We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically inclined Quality Executive to ensure the quality and dimensional accuracy of white metal babbitt bearings and related components. The candidate should be capable of understanding mechanical drawings, tolerances, and material specifications. Hands-on finishing work and inspection with measuring instruments will be part of the role.Key Responsibilities:Interpret and understand manufacturing/engineering drawings of components and bearings.Carry out incoming, in-process, and final inspection of components.Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, depth gauges, dial indicators, etc.Perform finishing tasks like deburring, filing, polishing, and sandpaper finishing when required to achieve required surface quality.Prepare dimensional inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.Ensure components meet drawing specifications, tolerances, and standards.Check surface finish, alignment, ovality, concentricity, and other critical parameters related to white metal bearings.Monitor material certificates, hardness, and composition where applicable.Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and coordinate with production to resolve defects.Implement and support quality control procedures, improvements, and system audits.Ensure workplace cleanliness, safety, and compliance.Skills & Requirements:Diploma/ITI in Mechanical/Production or equivalent qualification.Basic understanding of manufacturing processes of white metal bearings (preferred).Proficiency in measuring tools and dimensional inspection.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings & GD&T (Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerance preferred).Knowledge of materials like Babbitt alloys, mild steel, bronze, etc.Good analytical mindset and keen attention to detail.Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Word to prepare inspection reports.Willingness to perform hands-on finishing and shop floor tasks when required.Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
